What your $5 does, when you pay the rest, and how to get your money back.
A reservation is a refundable $5 deposit. It holds your place in the batch of 300 units and locks the early bird price. It is not yet the purchase of the device: the purchase happens later, only if you decide to pay the balance. You may reserve more than one Nightlight; the deposit is $5 for each, so three units are $15 today.
$149 for each Nightlight, even if the retail price changes. $298 is the retail price we plan after launch. Any sales tax will be shown before you pay, and shipping within the United States is free.
The Liacare Hub and the Care advisor service are not on sale, are not charged, and are not part of this reservation. If you ticked “Notify me” for either of them at checkout, that is a note to email you when they open — nothing more. No price for them is locked or promised here.
When your unit is ready to ship, we email you a private payment link for the balance: $144 for one Nightlight, because your $5 is already counted, and $144 for each further unit you reserved. Nothing happens unless you use that link. We do not store your card and we cannot charge it.
Our estimate is the second quarter of 2027 (April to June). It is an honest estimate, not a guarantee: certification and manufacturing can take longer than planned. If the date moves we will email you the new one as soon as we know it, and you choose: keep your place, or take your $5 back.
We ship to addresses in the United States only. If we open other countries before your unit is ready, we will email you.
You can cancel for any reason, any time before your Nightlight ships. Write to support@liacare.co from the email address you reserved with. We refund the $5 to your original payment method. There is no form and we will not ask you why.
If Liacare decides not to make the Nightlight, every deposit is refunded in full.
The return policy for delivered units will be published before anyone is asked to pay a balance, so you can read it before you decide.
The $5 is processed by Fourthwall, our e-commerce provider, on its own secure checkout page. Fourthwall is the merchant of record: it takes the payment, calculates and remits any sales tax, and issues your receipt. Liacare never sees your card number. Your receipt will show a $5 refundable deposit for the Liacare Nightlight Solo; if it says anything that contradicts this page, the refund promise on this page is the one that applies.

Liacare is a general wellness and home-safety product, not a medical device. It is not cleared or approved by the FDA. It does not prevent falls, cannot detect every fall, and is not a substitute for 911, emergency services or professional care. When it alerts your family, your family decides what happens next.
