About our AI presenter

Some of our short videos are presented by an AI-generated avatar, not a human being. We would rather tell you than have you wonder.

Why we use one

We are a small team building hardware. An AI presenter lets us publish a short, clear video for every guide without pulling our engineers off the workbench. The words are written by people, the same people who write these guides, and every video links to the full written guide with its sources.

How you can tell

• Videos with the avatar carry an on-screen label, “AI presenter,” for their whole length, and say so out loud at the start.
• We switch on the AI or altered-content label wherever the platform offers one.
• Each video's description links here.

What the avatar will never do

• Claim to be a doctor, nurse, caregiver or customer.
• Tell a personal story as if it had lived it, or give a testimonial.
• Give individual medical advice.
• Say anything the written guide does not back up with a source.
